New ODOD Programs Totaling $500 million in Grant Funds for Cleanup of Brownfields and Distressed Properties Webinar

This webinar is complimentary for OEDA members but registration is required.

December 17, 2021 from 9 a.m. - 10 a.m.

Governor DeWine’s signature of H.B. 110 on June 30, 2021, set in motion the creation of two massive funding sources that will be made available to community and economic development stakeholders.  Rules just released will enable Ohio communities to access up to $500 million in state-administered grant funds to be invested in Ohio’s distressed properties.  This includes $1 million specifically reserved for brownfields remediation for each of Ohio’s 88 counties in 2021. The ODOD issued rules governing the program on December 7, 2021; local communities should now begin planning for how best to utilize this funding. Join Bricker & Eckler attorneys Jeff Harris and Christy Schirra, and Jenny Carter-Cornell of Hull & Associates, for an in-depth virtual discussion of how local communities can take advantage of this opportunity.
