Creative Case Studies in Rail Economic Development Webinar

Join us on September 2nd, 9:30 – 11:00am for a webinar focusing on Ohio case studies in working with Railroads as important economic development partners.

This complementary webinar, in partnership with the Ohio Rail Development Commission, will feature three case studies on how local economic developers have worked with rail lines and railroads in development projects.

Joining us will be Megan McClory, Secretary Treasurer of the Rail Commission (moderator), Tom Burns, from the Ohio Rail Commission; Renee Smith, from the Fostoria Economic Development  Corporation, Taylor Stepp, from OhioSE, and Shea MacMillan, from the Youngstown / Warren Regional Chamber.

Tom Burns will review current issues in rail service in Ohio and the nation. The other panelists will detail project case studies in their areas where rail service was a critical component, and how they solved problems.
