Ohio’s Budget Priorities Webinar
Featuring Lt. Governor Husted

Wednesday, April 14, 2021
11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. ET

Join us on April 14 and learn more about the state budget’s impact on economic and workforce development, funding priorities, new programs, and important policy changes during this one hour webinar.  The program will feature Lt. Governor John Husted and registration will be required.

Overview:  Ohio’s $75 billion proposed budget includes some very big numbers.  But, the state operating budget is about more than dollars and cents.  The legislation, House Bill 110, lays out new programs, identifies and advances the administration’s priorities, and includes numerous policy changes.

In particular, a package of spending measures included in Governor DeWine’s “Investing in Ohio Initiative” is of great import to economic development.  The legislation includes $1 billion, through a combination of state and federal dollars, to help the state recover from the pandemic.  From broadband expansion and workforce development to small business relief and local infrastructure, HB 110 includes unprecedented funding for small businesses and local communities.
