Discussion of how dry cleaning facilities operating in compliance can still contaminate a shopping center and the adjacent neighborhood. The presentation will include a review of the history and current approaches to dry cleaning, examples of how the historic and current procedures can impact sites and how the regulatory compliance process may not catch ongoing releases to the environment. A review of the current Ohio EPA standards regarding dry cleaning solvents will also be discussed.
